900 Miles from My Home / Santa Fe
Two songs sharing the same horizon: 900 Miles from My Home and Eilen Jewell’s
Santa Fe. They wander through familiar territory—love that lingers longer in memory
than in life, highways that seem to stretch forever, towns passed through in the dark, and the
quiet ache of wanting what is already gone or still out of reach. I recorded this at home,
playing every instrument myself, following the songs wherever they wanted to go. What remains
is less a performance than a snapshot of a particular evening, a few stories carried down the
road and into a room, still searching for their destination.
