ERIK HERMAN
FIELD NOTEBOOK / EST. 1972 / CONTINUING RECORD

TRANSMISSION

MEDFIELD, MASSACHUSETTS · ESTABLISHED 1972 · STILL IN PROGRESS

Presently Pursuing Peace of Mind

This is the running record of Erik Herman: writer, trainer, consultant, musician,
published author, father, and working observer. The line runs from Boston Irish Catholic
family roots to books, systems, songs, client work, grief, reinvention, and the stubborn
hope that a life can still be held together by language, rhythm, memory, and usefulness.

CURRENT ORIENTATION

Work

Technical training, enterprise systems, consulting, published books, public-sector work,
course development, and years spent helping people find their footing inside complex tools
and unfamiliar processes.

Creative

Home-recorded music, long-form fiction, essays, dramatic ideas, fragments, family memory,
Cape stories, wakes and weddings, and a quieter effort to tell the truth without forcing it.

FIELD NOTE

This site is not meant to flatten a life into a résumé or brand. It is meant to preserve
continuity. Some entries are polished. Some are provisional. Some are professional. Some are
personal. All of them belong to the same record.
