Stories, Essays, Dramatic Work

The writing file includes fiction, essays, dramatic concepts, memoir-adjacent material,
family work, Cape work, grief work, and the recurring question of how to make art from a
life without simplifying either one.

PROJECT LINES

NOTE

Much of the writing returns to the same ground: Boston and its suburbs, Cape Cod, family
mythology, Irish Catholic inheritance, men and women trying to carry history without being
crushed by it, and the thin line between humor and sorrow. The goal is not polish alone.
The goal is tonal truth.
